Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has revealed Ethan Nwaneri is not allowed to prepare for first-team games in the dressing room due to safeguarding rules.

The 17-year-old has been in fine form this season, breaking into the first-team with ease and providing a suitable solution to the team’s injury problems on the right wing.

This season, Nwaneri has started in the Premier League เล่น UFABET ผ่านมือถือ สะดวกทุกที่ ทุกเวลา and Champions League for the first time, while he also impressed in the Carabao Cup, scoring in all three competitions.

Fellow academy graduate Miles Lewis-Skelly, who scored his first senior goal for the Gunners in the 5-1 rout of Manchester City, has also made an impact this season.

Arteta believes their friendship has helped Nwaneri settle in, as he has yet to prepare for first-team games with his senior team-mates.

Safeguarding rules mean players must be 18 or over to share the first-team dressing room, meaning the youngster will have to change elsewhere before joining his team-mates for a final team meeting.

“When you see those two (Lewis-Skelly and Nwaneri) walking together, talking, there’s a bond and chemistry there,” Arteta said.

“I imagine for them it’s very special because now they’re in the other dressing room (at the training ground),”

“Ethan can’t be in our dressing room, which is incredible. He has to go somewhere else to get dress, even on game day.”

“So to have someone close to him that they trust, that they have confidence in, that they have a connection with, I think it’s a blessing. They’re very lucky to have each other.”
