New Juventus defender Lloyd Kelly admits he will have to adapt quickly as he finds Italian football different to what he is use to.

Juve have signed Kelly on loan from Newcastle with an option to buy for €17.5m plus bonuses, suggesting they believe the player can prove to be a great addition to Thiago Motta’s side, which has struggled with injuries at the back in recent months.

“It’s a great feeling to be part of this club, you know the history behind it,” Kelly told Juventus TV.

“The club is huge in Italy, I think every player knows what it means to wear this shirt and I represent this club, so I’m very happy to be here and I can’t wait to get started and get on the pitch.”

“I would describe myself as a player who needs the ball, who loves to defend, one-on-one, I do well in those situations.”

“I’m ready to work physically and as a defender you want to keep a clean sheet. That’s another target for me. I’m someone who gives everything in training หากคุณสนใจเล่นพนันออนไลน์ที่ดีที่สุด สามารถสมัครสมาชิก UFABET ได้ที่นี่ พร้อมรับโปรโมชั่นพิเศษสำหรับสมาชิกใหม่ and in games and I’m looking forward to getting start.”

Kelly said he had only spoken briefly to coach Thiago Motta but was keen to adapt to Juventus’ style of play, which requires defenders to be involve in the build-up.

“Yes, I spoke to him this morning,” the 26-year-old added.

“It was just a short conversation because it was a busy morning, so I’m sure we’ll have time to sit down and think things through again,”

“It’s definitely a quick change, so I want to adapt to the football, the style of play, the way he wants to play and the way he wants his players to play for this team. There will be a lot of conversations that will happen.”

“I’m excited. Of course it’s going to be different. I’ll have to adapt quickly, but I’m looking forward to the new challenge. I never say no to a challenge, so this is something I’m going to give my all to. I’m sure we can strive for good things during my time here.”
